Public Diplomacy Honors Program

The Public Diplomacy Honors Program is a joint initiative of Reichman University’s Lauder School of Government, the School of Communication, and the Abba Eban Institute for Diplomacy & Foreign Relations.

The Institute supports the program as part of its broader commitment to strengthening and professionalizing public diplomacy for Israel and Jewish communities worldwide, through material resources and academic involvement including funding, workshops, and policy-oriented content. This support contributes to the integration of theoretical study with applied perspectives and real-world experience.

Each year, Reichman University’s Public Diplomacy Honors Program provides select students with the conceptual foundations and practical tools required to operate in contemporary public diplomacy.

In an increasingly contested global information environment, the program prepares students to engage thoughtfully with questions of representation, advocacy, and influence, while developing the analytical skills needed to navigate complexity and disagreement.

Graduates of the Public Diplomacy Honors Program go on to pursue professional paths in diplomacy, foreign relations, the private sector, and related fields, or to continue their studies in advanced academic programs.

The program serves as a foundation for continued engagement with international affairs across professional and scholarly trajectories.

Led by Prof Moran Yarchi, the program combines academic rigor with applied training, emphasizing critical thinking, professional judgment, and an understanding of the political and communicative dimensions of diplomacy in the twenty-first century.
